Raised in a small Texas border town by inspiring Hispanic parents, Abel embraced their ethos of resilience and relentless pursuit of dreams. By the age of 15, he was already shaping futures—coaching a youth cheerleading team at Glass Elementary to state-level victories and sparking a lifelong passion for leadership.

A proud Full Sail University graduate with a B.S. in Media Communications, Abel brings expertise in branding, media strategy, and communications. With these skills, he ensures that the Initiative’s vision resonates not only in Eagle Pass but also across the wider landscape of youth empowerment, cultural representation, and Latina leadership.
As Director, Abel leads with heart and purpose—fusing storytelling, mentorship, and community engagement to transform the pageant stage into a platform for education, innovation, and service.
